Dress Code

 

Studio management and instructors will strictly enforce the dress code. All students are required to dress appropriately for class as it maintains the standard of excellence and discipline required for a comprehensive dance education.   

 

First Steps, Tiny Dancers, Creative Movement I & II

Any color leotard, skirt and/or tutu are acceptable. 

Pink full-sole ballet shoes with pink footed tights, and black tap shoes.

Hair should be pulled, neatly away from the child’s face.

 

Boys: Sweats or shorts, T-shirts, black ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

 

Dance Fusion Ballet/Tap & Dance Fusion Ballet/Jazz

Any color leotard, dance shorts, skirt and/or tutu are acceptable. 

Pink full-sole ballet shoes with pink footed tights, and black tap shoes or tan jazz shoes.

Hair should be pulled, neatly away from the child’s face.

 

Boys: Sweats or shorts, T-shirts, black ballet shoes and black tap shoes or black jazz shoes.

 

Ballet

Black Leotards. No tank tops or camis.

Pink footed or transition tights.

Pink ballet shoes. 

Wrap skirts and dance belts are optional.

Warm-up sweaters are permitted if they are snug-fitting and the teacher can still see the students' alignment.

Hair should be secured neatly in a bun with a proper hair net and bobby pins.  Girls with short hair need to secure it off of the face.

 

Boys: Black sweats, white fitted T-shirt tucked in, black ballet shoes.

 

Jazz

Any color leotard or fitted tank top.  No bare midriffs

Black dance pants, capris or dance shorts with footed tan/black tights.

Tan slip-on jazz shoes.

No street wear or jeans.

Hair should be neatly secured in a ponytail.

 

Boys: Black sweats, snug fitting T-shirt and black jazz shoes.

 

Lyrical

Any color leotard.  No tank tops or midriffs.

Dance shorts with light suntan or black transition tights. 

Ballet wrap skirts are also acceptable.

Tan slip-on jazz shoes.

Hair should be neatly secured in a ponytail.

No street wear.

 

Boys: Black sweats, snug fitting T-shirt and tan slip-on jazz shoes.

 

Contemporary

Any color leotard.

Dance pants or shorts with light suntan or black transition tights.

Tan slip-on jazz shoes, dance paws or teacher's preference.

Hair should be neatly secured in a ponytail.

 

Boys: Black sweats, snug fitting T-shirt, and tan slip on jazz shoes or dance paws.

 

Tap

Any color leotard or fitted tank top.

Dance pants, or dance shorts with light suntan or black tights.

Black tap shoes.

Hair should be neatly secured in a ponytail.

No sweats, street wear, or jeans.

 

Boys: Sweats, dance pants or shorts, snug fitting T-shirt and black tap shoes.

  

Hip Hop

Fitted tank tops or T-shirts.

Sweat pants, dance pants, shorts, or capris.

Clean athletic shoes with non-marking soles.

No street shoes or jeans.

 

Boys: Dance sweats or shorts, T-shirt or tank top and clean athletic shoes.

 

Tiny, Mini and Jr. Pom

Any color leotard or fitted tank top.  No bare midriffs

Black dance pants, capris or dance shorts with footed tan/black tights.

Tan slip-on jazz shoes.

No street wear or jeans.

Hair should be neatly secured in a ponytail.
